Domesticated is comprised of artists who have a prominent concern with human relationships to the built environment, particularly that of the domestic.  Presented artworks make poignant observations of how we interact with our familiar built environments & the psychological nuances invested in such spaces, revealing the attachment & investment bestowed on those places & objects.

Personal & intimate space is being discussed, the private home, yet we can all acknowledge that others around us have similar spaces, interact with their homes similarly & can therefore understand what we experience more aptly.  Works in Domesticated present this acknowledgment poetically, succinctly & yet diversely, each work realizing an aspect of this familiar reality.

Each artists explores this environment through a focus on the everyday, looking at objects & places we all recognize & respond to daily but posing different ways of viewing that banality.

All 7 artists present a new way of considering these spaces & objects.
